Big’s Bend

Located in Double Horn, Texas, Big’s Bend is a rustic, 50-acre retreat for corporate and recreational gatherings just 35 miles west of Austin. The property’s name combines the nickname of the founding family’s patriarch with a reference to its location on a bend in the Colorado River. 

fd2s created a brand identity for the property that appeals to both meeting attendees and wedding guests with an upscale feel that also makes a subtle nod to the property’s history as an 1850s pioneer community. Classic typography and a distinctive set of graphic devices combine to give the identity the flexibility and range to work equally well in digital, print, merchandise, and environmental applications.
