City of El Campo
Experiential Branding
Wayfinding Consulting
This Southeast Texas community of approximately 15,000 residents is well known for a number of things: its rich agriculture and ranching history, proximity to the Gulf Coast, access to world-class bird hunting, and Friday night football. More importantly, its residents describe it proudly as a “small city with deep roots”. fd2s attempted to capture these attractions and this sentiment in a graphic mark that distinguishes El Campo from a number of similarly-sized towns along US Highway 59.
The brand identity is designed to subtly morph to reflect the Chamber of Commerce, City Development Corporation, and City services in general. Plans to develop a branded wayfinding program for the community are being considered by city staff.
