Given the eccentric footprint of this North Texas community, which is divided by the convergence of Lewisville Lake and the Elm Fork of the Trinity River, fd2s developed a coordinated program of wayfinding signage that identifies key thresholds and orients residents and visitors to its major destinations and amenities.

Little Elm’s crown jewel, The Lakefront, offers a public beach, a myriad of sports courts, overnight camping, and easy access to parks and trails, not to mention close proximity to both indoor and outdoor water parks. The design vocabulary for the wayfinding signage reflects the community’s well-established green-and-blue nautically-themed graphic identity with a subtle shift to The Lakefront livery based on proximity.
